Introducing: Curiosity Cabinet
The Compounded Space on the internets for my learnings, rabbit holes and more.
Every month, Madhuri Maram hand-picks the most curious topics in the internet and generate lattice points to explore this: What does it mean to live a curious life full of questions and explorations?
After like too many many efforts, I am finally creating a conscious space for my rabbit holes with enough space to explore my curiosities in a consistent manner.
Learning is the compounding you keep earning through action.
In an ever increasing world of noise, Curious Cabinet wants be that space you can visit to explore your next interest in life or provide a space for expression.
I curate within: Design, Business, Problem Solving, User Research, Customer Insights, Music, Coffee, Chocolate, Packaging, Art, Architecture, Melancholia, History, Building Products, AI, Tech Trends, Behavioural Psychology, Books, Stationery, Movies, Animation Movies, Culture, South Indian Anthropology, Etymology and anything I find fun and super curious about at any moment.
How did the name come by?
Kind of inspired by Harry Potter series, “Room of Requirement”. The room essentially appears when in need. I put my spin on the same, I imagine this cabinet to a space I can keep exploring without boundaries and conduct umpteen experiments. As an output, learning how to share my curiosities in a structured manner so I can keep myself accountable. Hence the name: Curiosity Cabinet.
What are you inputs for your curation and curiosity?
My Inputs into my curation: Secondary research that helps in depth of the article. Purely from a number standpoint: 20+ hours of my time, 100+ curated newsletters and essays, Journals and Magazines, Research papers, conversations with my inner circle and many many communities I am a part of.
What qualifies into my newsletter:
Did it make it to my consumption and curiosity circle?
Did this change my mind?
Did this drive me to action and experiments?
Does it make me a better person or a more curious person?
Do I want to send it to my inner circle asap?
is it well-written, heart-felt, and thoughtful, story told well?
Will I refer to it over & over again later?
Thanks for following along and hope you enjoy this brand new direction!
See you around 👋
